The Executive Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Ayo Fayose has expressed his intention to lead the Ekiti State contingent to the EKAINA Convention in New York next month. In a letter to EKAINA, the secretary to the State Governor, Mrs. Toyosi Omope, said that the Governor would be attending the convention. In addition to Governor Ayo Fayose, other Ekiti State notable indigenes currently living in Nigeria that has also expressed their intention to attend the two-day convention include at least one member of Nigerian National Assembly representing Ekiti State and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ado-Ekiti, Professor Isreal O. Orubuloye . The itineraries are still being worked out.
