NOTE: There is limited number of rooms available and it will be on first-call first-get basis. Attendees are advised to make their Hotel Reservations as soon as possible because New York City shall play host to some national Events during the same weekend.
AIRLINE RESERVATION INFO:
Convention attendees should arrive through JFK International Airport. There is
free Ramada Plaza Hotel shuttle from JFK to the hotel. The other Airport near
the Convention Venue is LaGuardia International Airport. If arriving through
LaGuardia Airport, please take the Airport Shuttle from LaGuardia to JFK. From
JFK, take the free Ramada Plaza Hotel shuttle.

GENERAL INFORMATION
EKITI ASSOCIATION IN NORTH AMERICA (EKAINA), the umbrella organization of various Ekiti local/regional associations and indigenes in North America will host its THIRD ANNUAL CONVENTION in Jamaica, New York USA, from the afternoon of Friday, August 20th through Saturday, August 21st, 2004. The agenda for the Convention will be announced at a later date:
EKAINA is currently made up of the following Ekiti Associations:
* Ekiti Progressive Union, Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Texas
* Ekitikete Association of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois
* Ekitiparapo Association of New York, Brooklyn, New York
* Ekiti Association In Houston, Houston, Texas
* Ekitiparapo Association of Atlanta, Atlanta, Georgia
* Ekitikete Canada, Toronto, Canada
* Ekiti Association of North Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina
Representatives from all ekiti associations within North America are invited to attend the convention. An association or individual can become a member of EKAINA by completing an application form. An association or individual does not have to be an EKAINA member in order to attend the convention. Any ekiti association not yet member of EKAINA but just want to come in as observers are welcomed. This is also to announce that the host association, the Ekiti Parapo Association, New York, will be celebrating its 15th Year Anniversary with a Fund Raising Dinner on the evening of Saturday, August 21, 2004. The dinner will start from 8:00 PM Saturday night until 2:00 AM Sunday morning. The anniversary celebration would be geared towards raising money for "EPANY Educational Endowment Fund". All EKAINA Convention attendees are invited and would be recognized at the party. There would be lots of dancing and eating, drinking and general ekiti fun at the dinner. Be ready to enjoy the unique New York hospitality.
